Tim leveraged the following statistics to help form his insights:

• 2024 (Jan–Nov): 6% growth in passenger movements over the same period in 2023.
• Total movements in 2024 (Jan–Nov): 76.8 million passengers.
• 2023 vs. 2022: 30% growth during the same period.
• 2024  showed a continued bounce back in travel since the pandemic, though at a decelerating rate as spend reverts back to the mean.
• Growing shift among tour operator clients toward long-haul destinations: Japan, Vietnam, Korea, and Australia are highlighted as rising in popularity
