ETOA regularly contributes to European Union-funded projects where the organisation’s expertise aligns to a programme’s scope and where there are benefits to the community’s commercial objectives and the development of the tourism industry.

Programmes have included delivery of international market-focussed events, recruitment of SMEs to be in receipt of targeted support and shaping thinking on sustainability and future jobs in tourism.

Would you like ETOA to support your project or join your consortium?

Due to our European scope, expertise and experience, as well as our access to a wide range of tourism stakeholders, especially SMEs, we receive many requests for support and engagement.

We are grateful for the interest, and we will consider involvement in a range of projects if they align with our organisational priorities, if we can add genuine value, and if participation will not compromise our core activity funded by our members.

We kindly request that all inquiries and proposals are initiated by completing the following form. Please note that you will need to create an account or log in before you can complete the form. We will respond as soon as possible. If you have any additional questions, please contact Arran Wiltshire.

World Bridge Tourism

2017

World Bridge Tourism was a 12-month programme of activities in 2017 to be carried out by ETOA and ETC. The general objective of the World Bridge Tourism Project was to increase the flow of Chinese visitors to the European Union.

World Bridge Tourism was the prelude to the 2018 EU–China Tourism Year. During that year an unprecedented level of attention will be paid to the growing importance of China as an origin market, and the changing preferences and behaviour patterns of Chinese visitors.
