Britain & Ireland Marketplace 2025 Reviews

Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM), organised in conjunction with Visit Britain and UKInbound, was held on the 24 January 2025. We had over 240 Buyer tables, 120 were hosted by Visit Britain, flown in from global markets, with the remaining tables hosted by ETOA and UKInbound Buyer members.

The event was highly successful with an overall satisfaction score of 4.83 out of five, and in the main, resulted in satisfied attendees. Comments focussed on problems associated with the weather (the storms were unusually severe this year), the inability to delete appointments, the lack of additional seating and the request for a continual supply of refreshments throughout the morning.

We aim to resolve these matters for BIM 2026 and are working hard to ensure that more regional hotels are showcased – the demand for which was lower than expected this year.

I thought that this year's BIM was a great success with relevant meetings, great organization and good quality food. I was also happy to see that the feedback from the previous year was taken on board in terms of matching meetings and room setup,

Best fam trip-review from tingting liu
This trip is the best among all the Fam trips I've participated in. Thanks to the invitation from the British Tourism Authority and the Tourism Ireland. I've gained a great deal. 1. I've obtained a deeper understanding of the entire Northern Ireland region. The restaurants and hotels on this trip have left a deep impression on me, and I will recommend them to our guests in the future. The itinerary in Northern Ireland could be made more diverse. I hope there will be opportunities to extend the guests' stay in Northern Ireland. Also, a product that combines Northern Ireland and Ireland separately could be developed. 2. I've developed a more comprehensive understanding of Liverpool. The experience at the music museum was excellent. The music culture tour and football culture tour can serve as important themes and reasons for recommending Liverpool, enabling tourists to stay in Liverpool for one to two days. 3. I've learned more about Manchester. As the first entry point or the departure city, more cultural experiences could be added. 4. The hotel I experienced in the Lake District left a profound impression. It can be highly recommended to guests seeking a vacation. We can promote in - depth experiences and feelings in the Lake District alone and introduce the Lake District as a vacation - oriented destination.
