ETOA strengthens leadership with seven new Advisory Council appointments

ETOA, the trade association for inbound tourism in Europe, has appointed seven new members to its Advisory Council following the organisation’s General Assembly and Members’ Meeting in Berlin on 2 March 2026.

The new members represent a cross-section of the international inbound tourism industry, including destinations, tour operators, hospitality companies and travel distributors. Their appointment reflects the diversity of ETOA’s membership and its commitment to ensuring that the voice of the industry is represented in the association’s strategic direction.

The new Advisory Council members are:

  • Alberto Bosque Coello, Castilla y León Tourism Board, Spain
  • Cristina Barsan, G2 Travel, Hong Kong
  • Robert From, Rail Europe, France
  • Vera Felicitas Lett, Tour Partner Group, United Kingdom
  • Marjan Gostič, Collette, United States
  • Christian Testa, Globus Family of Brands, Switzerland
  • Dave Bisgrove, Hotel Co51, United Kingdom

ETOA’s President, Adele Youngs, said: “I am delighted to welcome these seven highly experienced professionals to ETOA’s Advisory Council. They represent an impressive breadth of expertise across the inbound tourism sector, from destinations and hospitality to tour operations and distribution. Their insight and international perspective will be invaluable as we continue to support the sustainable growth and competitiveness of European tourism.

Industry expertise

Alberto Bosque Coello represents the Tourism Board of Castilla y León, one of Spain’s largest regions and a destination known for its rich cultural heritage, historic cities and gastronomy. The organisation promotes the region internationally and works to strengthen its position within European tourism. Bosque Coello said: “It is a great honour to join the Advisory Council and to represent the region of Castilla y León in such an important forum. I look forward to contributing to ETOA’s work and to supporting the collaboration between destinations and the travel industry across Europe and beyond.

Cristina Barsan joins the Council from G2 Travel, a global B2B travel wholesaler headquartered in Hong Kong that connects international tour operators with hotels and travel services across Europe and beyond through its technology-driven platform. Barsan said: ”I am grateful to be part of this group of people with huge experience and knowledge. I hope I can contribute as much as I gain from this experience.”

Robert From represents Rail Europe, the leading global distributor of European rail products, providing travel professionals and travellers worldwide with access to rail networks across the continent. “I’m honoured to join the ETOA Advisory Council. ETOA sits at the centre of a powerful global network of travel companies that grow and improve European tourism. Europe’s rail network is one of our continent’s great assets, and by combining better connectivity, digital distribution and industry collaboration  we have a real opportunity to shape a more accessible and sustainable future for european tourism.”

Vera Felicitas Lett joins from Tour Partner Group, a leading European inbound tour operator specialising in tailor-made travel programmes for international tour operators and travel agents across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. Lett said: “I am delighted to join the ETOA Advisory Council and look forward to contributing to the continued growth and resilience of European inbound tourism.

Marjan Gostič represents Collette, a long-established US tour operator specialising in guided travel experiences worldwide and working with a wide network of European tourism partners. Gostic said: “I’m honoured to join the ETOA Advisory Council and bring my contracting and commercial experience to support sustainable, commercially sound growth for the industry.

Christian Testa joins from Globus Family of Brands, a leading international travel company operating globally recognised tour brands and river cruise products. Testa said: “I am truly honoured to have been elected to the ETOA Advisory Council. I deeply believe in the value of this association and look forward to supporting its mission.

Dave Bisgrove represents Hotel Co51, a hospitality company operating more than 40 hotels across eight European countries including the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Denmark and Poland. Bisgrove said: “I’m genuinely honoured to join the ETOA Advisory Council. Travel has shaped so much of my life and career, and being able to represent Hotel Co51 while giving something back to an industry I care deeply about feels incredibly meaningful.

The Advisory Council consists of 25 industry leaders.
