Britain & Ireland Marketplace 2025 Reviews

Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM), organised in conjunction with Visit Britain and UKInbound, was held on the 24 January 2025. We had over 240 Buyer tables, 120 were hosted by Visit Britain, flown in from global markets, with the remaining tables hosted by ETOA and UKInbound Buyer members.

The event was highly successful with an overall satisfaction score of 4.83 out of five, and in the main, resulted in satisfied attendees. Comments focussed on problems associated with the weather (the storms were unusually severe this year), the inability to delete appointments, the lack of additional seating and the request for a continual supply of refreshments throughout the morning.

We aim to resolve these matters for BIM 2026 and are working hard to ensure that more regional hotels are showcased – the demand for which was lower than expected this year.

Fantastic experience at bim in london!
I had the pleasure of attending the BIM in London as a buyer, representing a UK DMC, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with a diverse range of suppliers, venues, and service providers from across Britain and Ireland. The event was exceptionally well-organized, offering a seamless blend of structured one-on-one meetings and networking opportunities. It was evident that the team behind BIM put a lot of thought into ensuring the attendees were paired with the most relevant partners. The quality of the exhibitors was top-notch, with so many innovative ideas and services on display that were truly impressive. What really stood out was the professionalism and hospitality of all involved. Everyone was eager to engage, share insights, and explore potential collaborations. I walked away from the event with valuable new business contacts and a wealth of fresh ideas that will benefit my clients for years to come. In short, BIM was a highly productive, enjoyable, and insightful event. I look forward to attending again next year and continuing to strengthen relationships within the industry. Highly recommended!

See you next year bim
Very well organized, very easy process before the event with meetings allocation. Considering challenges weather added it was very good event and busy with meetings.

Through this Fam trip, I gained an in-depth understanding of the latest information on products, experiences, hospitality, and accommodation in Northern Ireland, Liverpool, Manchester, and Cumbria. I also developed a deeper understanding of British culture and history, grasped the latest trends in the UK tourism market, and explored how to integrate tourism resources into our products or develop new tourism offerings to meet market demand, providing clients with unforgettable travel experiences. At the "British and Irish Market" (BIM) Tourism Trade Fair, I had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with service providers (including hotels, local tour operators, activity companies, tourist boards, etc.), establish direct contacts, and lay the foundation for future collaborations, continuously enhancing the competitiveness of our products in the market.
