φόρο διαμονής - Fóro Diamonís

The tourist tax (φόρο διαμονής – fóro diamonís) is a national accommodation tax, known as the overnight stay tax and is decided by national government. The tax is levied to all visitors on a per room basis in hotels throughout the country. The tax is not subject to VAT.
