On May 5th Dalata Hotel Group PLC announced that its newly acquired hotels, Crown Moran Cricklewood and Chiswick Moran Hotel in London, as well as Silver Springs Hotel in Cork have now been rebranded as Clayton Hotels.
This is the first step in a planned roll out of the exciting new Clayton Hotels brand across Ireland & UK which will see further 5 properties, coming on stream in early June in Manchester Airport, Leeds and 3 hotels in Dublin including Dublin Airport, Leopardstown & Ballsbridge.
These hotels, which were formerly Bewley’s and Moran hotels, will be joined in autumn by the original Clayton Hotel in Galway, as well as hotels in Cardiff, Belfast, Wexford and another key location in Dublin city centre. By the end of 2015, there will be 13 hotels in the portfolio.

In a deal worth €455m, Dalata Hotel Group PLC acquired nine new UK and Ireland properties from Moran & Bewley’s Hotel Group at the beginning of 2015. Dalata Hotel Group PLC also acquired an additional eight hotels in Ireland. It is Ireland’s largest hotel operator.

The new Clayton Hotels brand has been developed by the Dalata team who have extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry. Clayton Hotels will offer a people-focused service with their ‘your stay, your way’ approach. Clayton Hotels’ team’s goal is to make their guests’ stay as relaxing as possible and provide them with a home from home environment. Their offering will include little touches such as the hotel’s own brand healthy breakfast range.
