Europe has a large variety of cultural routes at a local, regional, national and international level. Some of these are physical, some are themed but in both cases it is interesting to see how, and even if, they can be translated into tourism product.
This session will look at various examples from across the continent such as the Way of St James and the Danube wine and Roman Emperors routes, as well as themes such as Art Nouveau architecture and historic events like the Pilgrim Fathers’ journey.
Bringing ETOA’s Europe-wide experience to the table, we will look at how lessons from elsewhere can be applied to Russia. This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A from the audience.
