Café Royal, Regent St | Tuesday 17th February | 4-6pm |  Refreshments provided

We are delighted to invite you to take part in the first ETOA luxury retail seminar.

The purpose of this seminar is to highlight the extraordinary opportunity presented by retail to organised tourism. ETOA clients, who represent over 1.5 million visitors to London from throughout the world, spend in excess of £200 million on shopping in London. This is without any systematic attempt to encourage them to do so.

Where there is encouragement to shop, spectacular returns have been seen. One ETOA member in Lucerne has seen sales break through the SF1 billion mark.   From a tourism industry perspective, shopping is the one activity in which all clients say they wish to engage.

This seminar will explore how much each market is worth in terms of potential spend, how retailers have worked with the trade, and why shopping cannot be ignored as a potential inclusion and provider of margin.
