The Tour Guide ID Card for Europe 2012/13
Following much increased demand for the Tour Guide ID card over the past two years ETOA will henceforth make a nominal administration and processing charge to cover costs. The price for individual card issue is £20.00 (excluding VAT), payable by applicant.

The format and function of the card remain the same. ETOA members continue to benefit from legal advice related to tour guiding, and ETOA remains vigorous in its efforts to ensure tour guiding is accorded the support it needs at a European and national level.
To this end, we are pleased to note that the legislative proposal for a revised Professional Qualifications Directive makes significant moves towards removing some of the obstacles faced by tour guides seeking to working countries where guiding remains a regulated activity.
