Unique appointment matching system: ETOA organises a number of targeted workshops throughout the year, scheduling anything up to 32 appointments for each delegate in the course of an event day. For example at ETOA's flagship Global European Marketplace (GEM) event circa 7000 meetings between international tour operators and European suppliers are scheduled.
How does it work? Before the event you will be contacted with the names of companies scheduled to attend and asked to create a wishlist from this. Using all the gathered information, each delegate is assigned as many appointments as possible. The appointments, lasting 12 minutes, are with people or companies you have requested to see, those that have requested to see you, and with those with whom you have common business interests.
Networking: There is also ample opportunity for networking, all taking place under one roof without the distractions of the office.
Drinks Reception: The events are concluded with a drinks reception; GEM also features a gala dinner.
