ETOA will be hosting a free seminar on cultural tourism product, which is taking place on Tuesday, 5th December at the Musée national Picasso-Paris.
With plans for Paris to become more pedestrian friendly, how will the group tourism industry adapt its product offer? How will the city manage capacity through raised awareness of its diverse attractions and neighbourhoods?
Following its reopening in October 2014, the Musée national Picasso-Paris has taken a fresh approach to the task of displaying their world-class collection, using diverse themes to trace a line through the prolific artist's work.
Off the beaten track for coach-based tourism, its location in the Marais lends itself to combination with walking tours and a slower and more reflective kind of city tourism.
We invite you to join experts from the Musée national Picasso-Paris, Mairie de Paris, Centre des Monuments Nationaux and Paris on the way to discuss opportunities for cultural tourism.
The seminar will be followed by a visit of a special collection and a drinks reception at the elegant 17th century surroundings of the Hôtel Salé.
When: Tuesday, 5th December 2017
Where: Musée national Picasso-Paris, 5 rue de Thorigny, 75003 Paris
Time: From 4pm (Interested delegates may have free admission to the Musée Picasso Paris collection from 2:30pm, available on application only)
Please note that some parts of this seminar may be conducted in French. Spaces are limited, so please make sure you register your interest by 14th November.
This seminar is being organised in collaboration with Musée national Picasso-Paris.
