BIM10 sees record number of delegates

The Britain and Ireland Marketplace (BIM) 2010 sees a 30% rise in buyers and suppliers compared with last year's inaugural event. Over 3,000 appointments are scheduled for the day, as a broad variety of operators meet with tourist attractions, tourist boards, hotels and other suppliers.

The event will take place at a brand new venue, the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, on 16th March 2010 and is a product of a partnership between ETOA and UKinbound.

"We are delighted to see that BIM has followed the trend of our recent events and registered an impressive increase in participation," said Tom Jenkins, ETOA's Executive Director. "Undoubtedly we are building on last year's success but there is an appreciation that such marketplaces offer an unparalleled opportunity to meet, network and do business with a large number of people in a single day under one roof."

Mary Rance, Chief Executive of UKinbound, comments: "UKinbound is delighted to continue to join forces with ETOA for BIM10. It represents a unique business and networking platform with a critical mass of the travel trade in town. It is positioned as a central event in British Tourism Week."
