What is HEM?
HEM is the only ETOA workshop that
focuses on organising appointments for hotel contractors and hoteliers
throughout Europe, as well as introducing contractors to destinations and their
individual hotels through tourist boards. The event is timed to coincide with
the start of the contracting period. The event is opened to both ETOA members
and non-members.
When is HEM?
12 February 2010, with timings as follows:
8:00am - 5:30pm: Registration & Appointments
5:30pm - 8:00pm: Drinks party

How does the event work?
Hotel Contractors take tables, and European hoteliers and city board delegates visit the tables according to their
pre-arranged appointment list. There are 32 appointment slots throughout the day, each lasting 12 minutes.
How do I register and prepare?
Step 1: Company Registration: You must first register your company at
www.etoa.org/HEM.
You will then receive a username and password by email.
Step 2: Delegate Registration: With your company username and password, you will be able to register
individual delegates to attend HEIM. Upon registration you may pay by credit card, and an invoice will be sent
out to you.
Step 3: Making Appointment Requests: You will receive an email at the end of January asking you to make
your appointment requests online.
Step 4: Appointment Assignments: We will assign your appointments for you. Please remember that you will
receive appointments that you have not requested as companies can also request you.
Step 5: Provisional List of Appointments: You will receive your provisional list of appointments one week
prior to the event.
Step 6: Final Appointments: Your final appointment list will be given to you on the day of the event.
